• When the hot water supply is opened, the diaphragm moves in response to the pressure difference to help divert the water.
• Diaphragms can be punctured if they are not checked frequently and this can be harmful for the boiler.
• The diverter valve is a part that only appears in combi boilers. It allows the hot water to be guided to the central heating (radiators, etc.) or to the domestic hot water system (taps, etc.).
